Young researchers (graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and residents) are eligible to apply for an award of up to $1,250 (USD) to reimburse expenses for attending an upcoming IACS conference. European researchers can apply to attend the North American Section meeting in Houston, Texas (Sept. 19-21, 2024), and researchers in North America can apply to attend the European Section conference in Bratislava, Slovak Republic (Oct. 28-30, 2024).
Eligible young scientists from North America should send a short letter indicating their desire to apply for this award to attend the European Section conference, together with a copy of their CV and a completed abstract, to Dr. Michael Czubryt, President of the IACS North American Section at mczubryt@sbrc.ca. The deadline to receive applications is August 30, 2024.
Eligible European young scientists should send a short letter indicating their desire to apply for the Dr. Martin Morad Exchange Award, together with a copy of their CV and a completed abstract, to Dr. Vladimir Jakovljevic, President of the IACS European Section at drvladakgbg@yahoo.com. The deadline to receive applications is July 31, 2024.
