Novel insights into the prevention and treatment of heart disease to live and promote a healthy lifestyle

Dear colleagues, dear friends,
It is our pleasure to announce the 10th Jubilee Meeting of the European Section of the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences (IACS-ES 2024) which will be held in Tatra Hotel, Bratislava, the capital city of the Slovak Republic, from October 28 to 30, 2024.
As you may know, the Slovak Republic is located in the heart of Europe, so the subtitle of the meeting is: Heart Research in the Heart of Europe.
Venue of the meeting: X-BIONIC Sphere, Hotel X- BIONIC, Šamorín, 2254/33 Dubová, 931 01, Slovak Republic
The meeting will feature keynote lectures from internationally known speakers and introduce you to the rising stars of heart research. Furthermore, to bridge the gap between basic and clinical heart research, we are organizing the conference with the collaboration and support of the Slovak Society of Cardiology, whose annual meeting will continue after hours.
The motto of the IACS-ES 2024 conference is: “Know the heart: novel insights into prevention and treatment of heart disease to live and promote healthy lifestyle“.
Accordingly, the scientific topics will include:
- Heart failure
- Cardiac inflammation and immunology
- Women`s heart: when gender matters
- Cardiac aging
- Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Inter-organ communication in heart disease
- Extracellular vesicles and the cardiovascular system
- Bio-engineering in heart research
- Myocardial adaptation and novel targets of cardioprotection
- A healthy diet for a healthy heart
- Cardiac toxicity of non-cardiovascular drugs
- Efficacy and safety of novel pharmacological interventions for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases
- Aspects of clinical pharmacy in the management of heart disease
